Hello!

Thank you for being here and celebrating the restoration of the Portage River Lighthouse in Jacobsville, Michigan with us. My name is Susan and my husband is Chris. We love preserving and restoring historic properties and cannot wait to bring the Portage River Lighthouse back to its former glory. Including restoring the tower, repairing all of the brick that is hiding or missing under the wooden "band-aid" panels, and removing the modern slide windows and putting back aesthetically appropriate double hung windows.

We have a lot in store, I hope you will enjoy cheering us on.

It is my dream to also start hosting creative workshops and retreats at the Lighthouse soon.
